THIS SUNDAY: Luke Gibbons is leading the service as we have an evening of Sharing our Stories of Faith (Summer Mission). Dave Powys is organising the music team, Caz James will lead in prayer, Laura Baker is convening, and Laura Holley and Kate Steel are providing supper (audio/data operators TBC). Thanks everyone.

SERVICE LEADING: Laura Baker is running a short information session on service leading this Sunday night at 6.30pm in the church.If you’re currently a NightChurch service leader, or if you’re interested in getting involved, or if you would just like to find out more about it – come along this Sunday!

WORSHIP ROSTER: The Term 1 Worship Roster (Feb 10—Apr 14) is now available for download from our website: www.kewbaptist.org.au/worship-roster. The roster is also on display in the foyer of the church and the hall. Please search carefully through the document to find your name wherever it appears and put the dates in your diary. If you are unable to fulfil one of your roles, please arrange a swap with someone else on the roster, and then advise the church office of the change.

KEWMUNITY OF WOMEN: The girls’ gathering is on this Wednesday night, 7.30pm at The House. This will be a pretty chilled evening – an opportunity to hang out, chat, play some fun games and get to know each other better. Feel free to invite others along, and if you’re a keen baker, perhaps bring some nibbles to share!

RES WORKING BEE: Saturday 9 Februaryat the Res, starting with breakfast at 8.30am. A great opportunity to serve the Res community and also get to know the new managers Stephen & Anouchka Chatelier. For catering purposes, please contact the Chateliers if you will be at the breakfast.

FIVE IN FIVE: Five in Five encourages single people to pledge to go on five dates in five weeks, raising funds for charities that work to break the cycle of social disadvantage. A number of people from NightChurch are participating – you can help by sponsoring them, or if you are interested in signing up yourself, you can register at the website: http://fiveinfive.org.au.

PRAYER: Andrew, Roman and Jacquie have recently headed off to India. Roman and Jacquie will be there for almost 3 weeks and Andrew, for about 8 weeks. They will be volunteering in different ways at Mukti for the majority of the time, after doing some travel of India (if anyone is interested in checking out what Mukti do, the website is www.mukti.org.au). They will be travelling with a small group of young adults from Victoria. Please be in prayer for them.

WEBSITE OF THE WEEK: The Bible League at www.bibleleague.com.au is an international organisation that aims to distribute Bibles to people in many countries. They also have some translations of the Bible available for sale at very reasonable prices.
