THIS WEEK @ NIGHTCHURCH: Paul Pallot will be preaching on ‘Jonah: The Reluctant Prophet’. Rachel Bakker is leading the service, Dave Powys is organising the music team, Stu Mackenzie and Phil Prior are on audio/data, Jane Horton will lead in prayer, Nic & Sarah Barclay will be providing supper, and Simon Pickering is convening. Then after NightChurch, ROX Café is again opening its doors just for us! Louie is cooking some delicious curries, so come down after the service (from about 7.30pm), and make the 5 minute walk to the café to continue hanging out together over some dinner!
JONAH: Click here for a copy of the Jonah handout from last Sunday night. It’s a basic outline/structure of the two Jonah messages (last week and this week), with some reflection questions for your own personal time or to even use in a small group.
HEART OF WORSHIP: Thursday 21 May, 7:30pm in the hall. If you’re involved in our music ministry, or interested in learning more about it, this is the event for you! We will be exploring biblical theology behind worship in song, as well as looking at some of the practical and technical aspects of church music leadership, and overall examining how we can grow and develop as music leaders and worship teams. Make sure you put it in your diaries! For more information, please contact Lauren Morgan (firstname.lastname@example.org).
