KBC COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP NIGHT: Tuesday 29 April, 7:30-9:30pm in the hall (changed from 15 May). We are pleased to have a special guest presenter on the night who has been brought over from the UK by the Baptist Union for a number of events. Paul Griffiths is a member of the Archbishop of Canterbury’s College of Evangelists. He is the Director of The Ugly Duckling Company, an organisation that exists to create a unique and differentiated approach in and to evangelism. He will be sharing practical and accessible ways of engaging others in sharing our faith in the cultural environment we currently live in. Everyone who leads anything at KBC is encouraged to come, and anyone in the congregation is welcome to come also. One of our aims this year and beyond is to help equip, train and disciple one another and this night is aimed at those goals. Supper provided.

CARRICAL BBQ: Once a month a team from KBC puts on a BBQ dinner at Carrical Rooming House in Hawthorn (18 Mason St) – they bring along some food and spend time with the guys there, getting to know them and forming relationships with people in our local community. The next BBQ is happening on Saturday 26 April. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Grace Loh.

‘UPPER ROOM’ PRAYER & WORSHIP: Wednesday 30 April, 7.30pm in the hall. This is a time to intentionally set aside time to seek God, open our lives to His Spirit, and pray for our world and each other.

CONGRATULATIONS to Phil and Felicia Prior on the arrival of Tobias James Prior, born 13 April.

TUNES UNDER THE TREE: Saturday 10 May, 7.30pm at The House. Put it in your diary! More details to come.

PRAYER: There is prayer at the back of the church at 5pm every Sunday. We’d love you to join with us in this important ministry!

That’s all for this edition of NightChurch News – Steve Pattison.
