This Week @ NightChurch
We begin our Term 3 series on ‘Love’, with Nicholas Tuohy preaching on ‘Love Like Jesus’. Grace W is leading the service, Luke Evans is organising the music team, Tim Mitchell and Phil Prior are on audio/data, Caitlyn Pryse will lead in prayer, Leonie Marshman will be providing supper, and Bree Monahan is convening. Thanks everyone.
Hospitality Sunday: 23 August
Join with others from Kew Baptist for lunch or dinner after NightChurch, in someone’s home. If you did not already sign up to be part of this popular event, don’t miss out! Please contact Deirdre Willis. We also need hosts and hostesses, so please offer your home if you are able to. All will share in providing food and drink.
Remain Festival: September 17-20, Belgrave Heights Convention Centre
Remain is a festival for young adults, aimed at encouraging and equipping Christians in their faith. It will be four days of teaching, worship, fun, food and community. Speakers include Guy Mason, Mark Sayers, Brenton Killeen, and Hannah Craven. Check out http://remainfestival.com.au for more details!
Sunday School & Crèche
Volunteers are needed to help out with Sunday School and Crèche on Sunday mornings, during the 10am worship service. If you’re able to help out (even if just once a month!) or you’re interested in finding out more, please speak to Bree Monahan or Liz Pell.
Scripture Union Family Missions (SUFM) is looking to recruit new members for their Mallacoota beach mission team for the summer mission (27 Dec – 7 Jan). If you’re interested in getting involved or just finding out more, please contact the church office
A reminder that our Associate Pastor Paul Pallot is on leave until 27 July.
Tuesday Prayer Breakfast
We run a weekly Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday mornings, 7-8am in The Lounge (upstairs in the hall). With winter here, we are serving porridge (delicious!) as part of breakfast – something to warm you up before you face the rest of the day. Don’t miss out! Remember you can also join our 5pm prayer gathering on Sundays before the service in the church building.
A reminder that you can give your offering via direct transfer to the church account.
