BORROW A GRANDCHILD: Borrow a Grandchild is a program with the intention for NightChurch members to be involved in the lives of Morning Church members. We are currently looking for a few more volunteers who are willing to either share a Sunday lunch with them, look after their gardening, help around the house or just hang out with them and hearing some of their wisdom over a cuppa! It is not a full time commitment and is a great way to learn from others and enjoy the company of others in our Church. So come and talk to Laura Baker if you’re interested in being involved!

REVERENCE & REVERIE: The Concordis Chamber Choir (of which Lauren Morgan is a member) presents their winter concert ‘Reverence & Reverie’ on Sunday 23 June, 2pm at Ian Roach Hall (Scotch College, Hawthorn). Tickets and further details available at: www.trybooking.com/50927.

THE CROSSING: June 28-30, Yarra Junction. Explore the call to mission at ‘The Crossing’ –through main sessions, workshops, discussion groups, personal reflection and discernment times, together young people can be informed and inspired by God’s engagement in the world, and how He invites each of us to join with Him in seeking to fulfil His mission. Further details at: www.unoh.org/thecrossing.

CARRICAL BBQ: Saturday June 22nd at 4:30pm is the next Carrical gathering. This is a great opportunity to serve members of our community with a BBQ and good chats at the Carrical home in Hawthorn. Please talk to Grace Loh for more details.

WEBSITE OF THE WEEK: This week I thought I’d feature a program that was recently broadcast on the ABC; Of What Earthly Use Is The Church? This discussion features a group of people from various churches. One of them is Darren Cronshaw pastor of AuburnLife Church who has spoken at NightChurch recently.
