NightChurch Camp 11-13 November, at Daniel Lansdown’s property – well, his parents’ – at Buninyong. Leave Friday afternoon/evening, return Sunday afternoon. Bring $30 to NightChurch this weekend and give it to Corey.
Katie Ward is in a circus show, Scape, coming up and says, “It would be awesome to see lots of friendly NightChurch faces in the crowd. It’s on from Nov 2 to 5 at 8pm (additional matinee show on the 5th at 2pm). Tickets are $15 adult, $10 concession, $8 for groups of 8 or more. Reserve tickets by emailing, or talk to Katie Ward. Volunteers needed: Sunday afternoon, 23 October, 4pm – Grace Munro and Nicholas Tuohy want to get stuff which is never used out on the street for hard rubbish collection. If you can help, call Nicholas or Grace.

WE EXTEND OUR SYMPATHY to Mari and David Atkinson following the sudden death of Mari’s mother last Friday. The funeral will be held today (Wednesday). We remember in prayer Taryn and her sister who are overseas and will miss being part of this important family event.
CONGRATULATIONS AND BEST WISHES to Tom Docking (James’ brother, former intern at Kew), as he and Kate Hardeman marry on Friday this week. We pray God’s blessing on your life together.
Kids Hope Australia (World Vision), a mentoring program helping Australian children needing extra support in education, self confidence and well being. Mentors offer friendship, and must adhere to guidelines on respecting the secular nature of education. David McKeown suggested that some might like to join a Hawthorn West Baptist Church monthly BBQ team at Hamer Court, another initiative of Servants Community Housing, just across from Kew Cemetery. Katie Ward has a room to rent over the summer from late November to late January in Balwyn. $120 per week, includes Internet, bills, etc. In Balwyn, close to shops, public transport, library, parks, etc. Contains two lovely housemates.
