NightChurch News 23 Feb

THIS SUNDAY: The Student Res officially opens for the year this Sunday, with a Welcome BBQ Lunch at 12pm followed by the Commencement Service at 1.30pm. This is an opportunity for the church to welcome the students and their families into the community, so it would be great to have a strong NightChurch contingent there to be a part of it! If you are coming for the lunch, please bring a salad. Also note that there is no 10am service on that day. The NightChurch service will be at 5.30pm as usual.

THIS WEEK @ NIGHTCHURCH: It’s Servolution Sunday! A chance to hear about opportunities to serve and to get involved in various KBC ministries. Paul Pallot will be preaching, Caz James is leading the service, Mat Hunter and Kate Steel are organising the music team, Phil Prior and Jono Davenport are on audio/data, and Romona Boswell will be providing supper. Thanks everyone.

CHURCH DIRECTORY: We are in the process of collecting details for the 2014 Church Directory. If you want to be included in the directory, make sure you fill in one of the designated green cards at church or email the church office ( to advise your current details. We are also aiming to include photos in the directory this year, so our resident photographer Felicia Prior will be available before/after the services to take your photo. Alternatively, you can simply submit your own photo via email to the church office. Details and photos must be submitted by Sunday 2 March in order to be included in this year’s directory.

HOUSEWARMING: The House is having their housewarming party on Friday 28 February – great opportunity to meet the new Res students, check out the renovations, and have a good time! The theme is ‘Space Age’, so get out the tin foil and start planning your costumes!
