THIS WEEK @ NIGHTCHURCH: We continue our sermon series onthe parables of Jesus, with Nicholas Tuohy preaching on ‘The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant (Matthew 18:21-35)’. Jadon Dutra is leading the service, Kate Steel and Mike Follent are organising the music team, Coby Docking will lead in prayer, Cecelia Tyler and Luke Gibbons will be praying up the back, Tim Mitchell and James Hayes are on audio/data, Leonie Marshman will be providing supper, and Katie Cantwell is convening.   • Upper Room: Wednesday 23 July, 7.30pm in the hall. Come join us for an evening of worship, prayer, reflection, quiet time! Everyone welcome.
  • Carrical BBQ: Saturday 26 July, 4.30pm at Carrical Rooming House (18 Mason St, Hawthorn). We really need some extra volunteers for this, so if you are interested in getting involved, please contact Grace Loh.


  • For The Love Of Niger II: Friday 15 August @ The Evelyn Hotel (Brunswick St, Fitzroy). For TheLove Of Niger is back!! This year we need to raise $7000 to send 26 students to school in Niger. We are having an auction and some live music featuring Jeremy Piper, San Salvador and Tom Tuena. Doors open at 8pm. Adult $15 Concession $10. If you would like to donate an item to auction, or contribute financially, please contact Mat Hunter.
  • Faith Has Its Reasons: Saturday 9 August, 10am-4pm at Glen Waverley Anglican Church. Professor John Lennox, a leading Christian thinker, author and speaker, will deliver two keynote sessions on science and faith. There’s also a Q&A session with a panel of scientists and interactive workshops led by inspiring and thought-provoking experts. To register and see the full program, visit:
  • Concordis Chamber Choir: Saturday 2 August, 7.30pm at Scotch College. Lauren Morgan is part of Concordis, and this concert is particularly exciting as it includes the premiere of one of Lauren’s own compositions – a choral setting of Psalm 88, which she composed a few years ago.
