NightChurch News, 30 August

This Week @ NightChurch

We will be celebrating with Josh Wilson and Ben Cronshaw as they are baptised. Please pray for them this week in their preparations. Nicholas Tuohy will be preaching, Mary-Anne Philip is leading the service, Dave Powys is organising the music team, Phil Prior and Anita Pallot are on audio/data, James Docking will lead in prayer, Zach Moore will be providing supper, Sarah Trebilcock and James Docking will be available for prayer after the service, and Simon Pickering is convening. Thanks everyone.

This Sunday we will also gather for our quarterly church meeting at 11am in the hall. One of the really great things about being a Baptist church is that we value participation and inclusion from everyone in the church on what we believe God is saying to us and where God is leading us. We strongly encourage you to attend! Our Vietnamese congregation will be providing lunch for us as a fundraiser for their Vietnam mission trip in Jan 2016. We will finish by 12:30pm.

Coming Events

Church Survey

We’ve put together a short survey to get a better understanding of how things are perceived in the life of our church. If you are currently involved in Kew Baptist Church, please take a moment to fill it out! It is anonymous and should only take about 10 minutes to complete. It would be very helpful to have your responses!

Tuesday Prayer Breakfast

We run a weekly Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday mornings, 7-8am in The Lounge (upstairs in the hall). With winter here, we are serving porridge (delicious!) as part of breakfast – something to warm you up before you face the rest of the day. Don’t miss out! Remember you can also join our 5pm prayer gathering on Sundays before the service in the church building.

A reminder that you can give your offering via direct transfer to the church account.
