THIS WEEK @ NIGHTCHURCH: “Just Prayer: An Immersive Prayer Experience”. We are having a special service focused on prayer, specifically praying for least-reached people groups and our supported cross-cultural workers. Jono Davenport will lead the service, Mike Follent is organising the music team, Tom Parkinson and Jono Davenport are on audio/data, Marny Croot will be providing supper, and Ben Ramsay is convening. Thanks everyone.

ANNUAL CHURCH GATHERING: On Sunday 30 November, we will gather for our annual church meeting. This is an opportunity for us to gather as a church community for prayer, fellowship, to hear from our leaders, and listen and discern together what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. We will have our 10am service in Newnham Hall, followed by morning tea together, and then we will gather for the meeting. The 2014 Annual Report is available to download from the ‘Archives’ section of our website.

WENDY HENRY: For those who haven’t heard, our Associate Pastor Wendy Henry is retiring at the end of this month. Sunday 30 November will be her last service with us; there will be a special farewell to her at the Annual Church Gathering. We give thanks for her many years of ministry, and particularly these last two years at Kew Baptist Church overseeing small groups and pastoral care. Remember to pray for her as she begins this new season of life.

2015 CALENDAR: We are starting to put together a draft church calendar for 2015. To assist us in this process, please submit any dates you may have for events/meetings next year to the church office.

KEW COMMUNITY CAROLS: On Sunday 7 December, we have the Kew Community Carols. There will be a sausage sizzle from 6.30pm, before the carols program commences at 7.30pm. We need some volunteers to assist with set up/pack up, BBQ, activities for kids, and also some extra singers for the choir. Please contact the church office if you want to get involved! More details:

LOVE ABBOTSFORD: Sunday 14 December, 12-4pm at 229 Hoddle St, Collingwood. There will be sport, music, face painting, a BBQ, and it will be a chance to continue to build relationships with the people there. Please contact Mary-Anne Philip for more information.

TITHING: A reminder that you can give your weekly offering via direct debit to the church account.

PRAYER: There is prayer at the back of the church at 5pm every Sunday. We’d love you to join with us in this important ministry!

That’s all for this edition of NightChurch News – Steve Pattison.
