  • It is only the end of October, but the annual migration away from Kew has begun. Some of the residents in the Student Res are soon to finish their academic years and will head home or away. People are preparing for camps, beach missions and the like.
  • Tonight we say farewell to Yas McGrath, who is moving to Wallan to work as a Myotherapist in the Wallan/Kilmore area. We are glad you have been part of KBC and NightChurch since 2007, and are grateful for the contribution you have made to the Res, the House, and in the community generally. We wish you well!


  • A neighbour of Liz Pell is looking for a house sitter for three weeks from mid-November. It involves feeding an unsociable cat and feeding and daily exercising a friendly dog.
  • Katie Ward has a room to rent over the summer from late November to late January in Balwyn. $120 per week, includes Internet, bills, etc. In Balwyn, close to shops, public transport, library, parks, etc. Contains two lovely housemates. If you or anyone you know is interested, let Katie know.
