LEADERSHIP & MENTORING NIGHT WITH PETER CORNEY (OAM): Thursday 4 September, 7:30-9:30pm, Newnham Hall. Peter is an Australian Anglican Minister, actively involved as a preacher, lecturer, writer, and in training and mentoring young leaders and pastors. He acts as a leadership consultant to churches, schools and Christian organisations. He is also involved in supporting refugees in Australia. With over 45 years of leadership and ministry experience, Peter also set up St. Hilary’s Kew “The Institute for Contemporary Christian Leadership” working with both lay and ordained church leaders in congregational leadership. CHURCH/RES FOOTY: Saturday 20 September, 10am-2pm at Victoria Park (Abbotsford). There will be a round-robin competition between Church, Res and ex-Res for men (16 years and up) and a women’s game (16 years and up) held before the final. All are welcome to play, help out or simply enjoy the day. We especially need more players for the women’s game – please contact Mel Hill if you’re interested in playing!
